In his book Hero on a Mission, Donald Miller wrote:
"Healthy people grow, healthy people transform."
Growth happens when we stop making excuses. If we always have a made-up reason for why we can’t become a better version of ourselves, we stay stuck and remain a victim in our own story. Heroes transform.
In almost every story or movie, the hero starts weak, afraid, and confused. But as the story unfolds, the hero transforms. The hero changes. The hero grows into a better version of themselves.
Take a second and ask yourself: What part of me needs to be transformed? Don’t make excuses. Don’t wait for the perfect time. Just start the journey. Growth begins when we take ownership of our story and decide we are no longer willing to stay stuck.
